Take a closer look at modern methods of construction in action.

Join Building Institute Aotearoa for an exclusive site visit to the new Adult Acute Facility at Hillmorton Hospital in Christchurch.

The 9,850m² mental health facility is being delivered using predominantly timber construction, including Hyjoist floor cassettes, LVL roof trusses, pre-nail walls and shear walls across approximately two thirds of the building area.

Time:  3.30pm - 5.30pm.
Meeting point: 25 Annex Road, Christchurch. 

Cost: Member Free, non-member $50+gst.
CPD: 3 points.
PPE: High-vis vest, hard hat. safety glasses and safety boots.

Take a closer look at a residential development designed for flexibility, efficiency and coordinated delivery.

Join us in Frankton for a hosted site visit to Mountain Oak Apartments, a stylish apartment complex by Safari Group in Remarkables Park.

The development includes traditional apartments, private-entry apartments and dual-key options, offering a useful look at how design, consent, procurement and construction come together across a multi-unit residential project.

Charitable Education Trust Mils Muliaina Luncheon 2026

Thursday 9th July 2026 at 11:30am, Shed 5, Wellington

 

This premium event brings together people from across the building and construction sector for an afternoon of connection, conversation and rugby insight. 

We are pleased to welcome Mils Muliaina as guest speaker. A former All Black fullback and 100-Test centurion, Mils represented New Zealand from 2003 to 2011 and was part of the 2011 Rugby World Cup-winning team. He also had a distinguished Super Rugby career and is now well known as a Sky Sport commentator and rugby analyst.
