The Building People Awards Ceremony & Gala Dinner will be a night to acknowledge and celebrate the practitioners behind New Zealand’s most successful building projects.

The awards evening will take place on Friday 8 August in Poneke | Wellington.

Join us at the Building People Awards - network with industry leaders and celebrate excellence in the construction industry. We have single tickets and tables available to purchase. 

To help you make the most of this hosting opportunity we have three different table options to suit your needs and budget: 

1. Standard Table - $2950 +GST

- Table of 10 at the awards  

2. Table Plus – $3450 + GST (limited to 10 tables)

- Table of 10 at the awards

- Places for your guests at our two Site Visits on the day of the event*

This is a great option if you are coming from out of town to make the most of the visit to Wellington.

3. Premium Table Package - $3950 +GST (limited to 10 tables)

-Table of 10 at the awards with premium seating (front half of the room guaranteed)

- Table signage with your brand

- Your Brand mentioned by MC Paddy Gower on the night and your organisations logo featured in a slide on the main screen

- VIP welcome by a Building Institute Board Member

- Bottle of bubbles on your table. 

- Curated Wellington themed gift bags for your guests

- Professional Photography of your table and guests – will be sent to you after the event for your own marketing purposes

- Places for your guests at our two Site Visits on the day of the event*

- The Institute values and acknowledges your support of the work done to support the broader construction industry

The Premium Table Package allows you to be one of our ‘Good Hosts’ by elevating your guests experience for the night and promote your brand on the night to a room full on industry leaders. 

* ‎ First in first served in terms of booking Site Visit 1 or 2 spots.

Site Visits

We have two exciting and sought after Pōneke | Wellington Site Visits lined up for the day of the Awards (Friday 8 August). These spots will be set aside for our Table Plus and Premium Table guests first - we will be in touch once Award tickets are purchased to secure your site visit spots. We may open up the visits to other guests closer to the date depending on availability. 

• Ngā Mokopuna (project name the Living Pā) - Staggered visits between 12-2pm
• Te Whare Whakarauika | Wellington Town Hall redevelopment project - Staggered visits between 3-5pm
