Students – Want to attend BuildUP26 for free?

Thanks to the NZIOB Charitable Education Trust, we’re funding 15 full-time students from across Aotearoa to attend BuildUP26 — with flights, accommodation, and conference tickets fully covered.

This is your chance to connect with industry leaders, learn from experts, and explore the future of building in Aotearoa.

Terms & Conditions

1. Eligibility: Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students in New Zealand at the time of application.
2. Application Process: To apply, students must complete the application form and answer all required questions.
3. Deadline: All applications must be submitted by 25 February 2026, 11:59 pm NZDT. Late entries will not be considered.
4. Selection: A total of 15 recipients will be selected by the Building Institute based on the merit of their application. Decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5. Announcement: Successful applicants will be contacted directly.
6. Package Includes: Each selected recipient will receive a fully covered BuildUP26 conference ticket. Flights and accommodation within New Zealand will also be covered. Note: Applicants from Christchurch will receive a complimentary conference ticket only.
7. Non-transferable: Tickets, flights, and accommodation are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other benefits.
8. Acceptance: By submitting an application, students agree to these terms and allow the Building Institute to use their name and profile for promotional purposes if selected.
9. Liability: The Building Institute is not responsible for any loss, damage, or expenses incurred in relation to travel, accommodation, or attendance at BuildUP26.
