Description
Join the institute for this perimeter site visit of this iconic new landmark in Ōtautahi | Christchurch Stadium state-of-the-art multi-use arena - Te Kaha.
The $683-million project will have a seating capacity of 30,000 for sports events and will hold a minimum 36,000 spectators for large music events. The fully enclosed arena is being delivered for the Christchurch City Council by the Kōtui team, led by BESIX Watpac.
The Kōtui team includes New Zealand companies Southbase Construction, engineers Lewis Bradford, architects Warren and Mahoney, and global stadium design experts Populous and Mott MacDonald.
At this site visit you will hear from Christchurch City Council Project Director Kent Summerfield onsite before heading to drinks and nibbles after the visit thanks to RCP.

Cost: Free for NZ Institute of Building members. $50 + GST to Non-Members
