Makers Fabrication connects architecture and construction through digital technology and offsite manufacturing, delivering tailored solutions across modular, hybrid, panelised, and custom joinery projects, including mahi toi/arts integration. Part of the broader Makers group—which includes an architecture studio and upcoming housing development—its 25+ multidisciplinary experts work from a purpose-built workshop to deliver high-quality projects across Aotearoa. The factory site tour offers a glimpse into their workshop, approach, and processes.

This event is being organised in collaboration with NZIQS and has been designed with our Next Gen Members in mind - though all are welcome to register. 

POST SITE VISIT

At 5.30pm following the Site Visit there will be a chance to network over drinks and nibbles thanks to Makers Fabrication.

• 4.15pm – Arrival & Registration

• 4:30pm – Site Tour

• 5.30pm - Nibbles and drinks

Meeting point: Makers Fabrication, Shed 7, 115 Gracefield Road, Lower Hutt. Upon arrival at Shed 7, make your way up the stairs.

Cost:     Free for Next Gen members | $50 + GST to Non-Members 
CPD:     3 credits
PPE:     High-vis and closed-toe shoes essential

Some parking is available in front of the main door - you may be advised to park on the street if required. Additional parking on Gracefield Road.
