Design and build can deliver faster, more integrated outcomes, but only when the model is set up and run well. This session examines what “good” looks like across the full project lifecycle, from early client brief and procurement strategy through design development, construction and handover.

Featuring three practitioner perspectives, the session will explore how smarter procurement and delivery models can drive collaboration, innovation and better results. A commercial manager from a main contractor will share how to structure and manage design and build contracts for success. A client or design manager will outline how to set clear outcomes, manage design risk and maintain client value. A quantity surveyor will focus on cost planning, change management and commercial governance in a design and build environment.

Attendees will leave with practical insights they can apply to upcoming projects, whether they are on the client, consultant or contractor side.
