Established in 1985, the Building Institute Aotearoa Charitable Education Trust is legally known as NZIOB Charitable Education Trust and is a registered New Zealand charity (CC32376).

Our mission is to increase our funds and pay scholarship grants from fund earnings. By preserving capital for the long term, we can be a sustainable source of support for future industry talent. By attending our fundraising events or contributing through sponsorships and donations, you can help us create opportunities that will benefit the industry in years to come.

For over 40 years, Building Institute Aotearoa has connected and supported people across New Zealand’s building and construction sector. Alongside the Building Institute Aotearoa, the Charitable Education Trust helps to build the future of the industry by supporting education, training, scholarships and grants for people working in or entering the construction industry.
