Join us for an exclusive tour of Te Aho Tupua, Wellington City Council's new civic workplace, and hear firsthand from the people who helped bring this landmark project to life.

Located within Te Ngākau Civic Precinct, Te Aho Tupua is an impressive 18,000-square-metre adaptive reuse development that has brought four separate Council offices together into a single workplace for more than 1,200 staff. The project represents a significant investment in Wellington's civic infrastructure and a thoughtful approach to the future of workplace design.

This event will provide a unique opportunity to explore the building and gain insights from key project partners, including representatives from Wellington City Council, Te Āti Awa ki Te Upoko o Te Ika, LT McGuinness, and the Co-Design team at Designgroup Stapleton Elliott (DGSE) and Rua Pītau. 

Central to the building's design is the concept of wai (water), inspired by the waterways that once flowed through the site to Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Through architecture, cultural storytelling, and placemaking, Te Aho Tupua reflects a strong connection to the history and identity of the area while creating a modern, sustainable workplace for the future.
